  • Allocations

    details

    The Capita Housing Allocations application includes features for housing and transfer registers, choice-based lettings, short-listing applicants for properties and managing the offer process. Fully integrated with your housing database, it can handle all processes from applications to re-letting of properties and establishing a tenancy and rent account.
     
    The Allocations module records applicant circumstances and uses them to prioritise their application according to multiple policies. This makes it ideal for providers hosting a common housing register with partners. Alternatively, applicants may bid for properties online, via text or voice recognition telephony.
  • Choice-Based Lettings

    Many local authorities and housing providers are adopting regional and sub-regional choice-based lettings partnerships as part of their allocations procedures.
     
    Capita Housing’s Choice-Based Lettings application provides all the tools to effectively manage multiple lists of vacant properties and capture responses to advertisements. Applicants may register requests via a fully interactive website, automated telephony and in person. The system can prioritise requests according to your own allocations policy. Vacant properties are automatically identified from the Voids Management module and other providers’ properties can be incorporated.
  • Housing Advice

    Enhanced Housing Advice software services from Capita Housing include rent deposit and similar schemes to enable private tenancies; family mediation; support for victims of domestic violence; and tenancy sustainment. Such services are now a widely-used approach to tackling homelessness and tenancy issues.
     
    We have developed this fully integrated application to assist in taking steps to prevent homelessness. It can capture, create and manage cases, with a clear workflow showing what steps should be taken, accountabilities and action deadlines. This software also assists with identifying resolution paths for different types of housing advice and records progress though any resulting legal processes.
  • Homelessness

    details

    This application monitors cases of homelessness, prompts for decisions within specified time limits and records information to help you produce statutory returns. These returns include the Department of Communities and Local Government’s (CLG) quarterly P1E return, the HL1 for the Scottish Government and the WHO return for the Welsh Assembly Government.
     
    Users can record all the details connected with each case, including contact with other organisations, evidence requested in support of the application, financial and other relevant information. They can also make records on the use of temporary accommodation and costs attributed to individual cases.
