Capita's software services division is sponsoring two mobile working-focussed local government events hosted by Public Sector Nomads, the successor community to the former eGov Project Nomad. These events will focus on how local government and the wider public sector can benefit from mobile working and reduce costs in the wake of the economic downturn.
Many public sector organisations have demonstrated that mobile working projects, both corporate and departmental, have made service delivery more effective and efficient and in turn, have delivered significant cashable savings.
These events will be local authority led and will demonstrate, via best practice case study presentations and facilitated round table sessions, how other public sector organisations can harness mobile technology and unlock efficiency savings.
Attendees will hear from local government mobile working practitioners and experts in the field who will share their experiences, “warts and all.”
